MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota rookie Kevin Love is sitting out Sunday's game against Denver with flu-like symptoms.
Timberwolves coach Kevin McHale says Love had been feeling ill since Friday's victory at Utah. He scored only two points against the Jazz.Love leads all rookies in rebounding (8.9 per game) and double-doubles (25). In March, he averaged 9.6 rebounds, and his 15.8 points per game ranked third among rookies. He was honored as the Western Conference Rookie of the Month on Friday.
