Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-11-11

Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-11-11ROTATION: Starters -- Power forward Ryan Gomes, small forward Corey Brewer, center Al Jefferson, shooting guard Wayne Ellington, point guard Jonny Flynn. Bench -- Power forward Nathan Jawai, shooting guard Sasha Pavlovic, small forward Damien Wilkins, power forward Brian Cardinal, center Ryan Hollins, power forward Oleksiy Pecherov, point guard Ramon Sessions.

--G Jonny Flynn won the individual matchup against Golden State's Stephen Curry -- they were the sixth and seventh players taken in last summer's draft -- but, of course, Curry won the game. Flynn's line: 20 points on 8-for-17 shooting with six assists, six turnovers and a steal in nearly 34 minutes. Curry's line: eight points on 2-for-8 shooting with five assists, two turnovers and a steal in nearly 30 minutes.

--F Nathan Jawai scored six points in 13 1/2 minutes after he scored a career-high 16 points in more than 22 minutes Sunday in Portland.

--G Jason Hart was inactive for the sixth consecutive game after he was active but did not play in the season opener.

--F Kevin Love will have his fractured left hand X-rayed again on Nov. 20 to see if it has healed sufficiently for him to return to practice. He was expected to miss six to eight weeks when he broke the fourth metacarpal bone on that hand in an Oct. 16 game at Chicago and needed surgery and three metal screws inserted to fix the break.
