Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-11-08

Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-11-08ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jonny Flynn, Shooting guard Corey Brewer, Small forward Ryan Gomes, Power forward Oleksiy Pecherov, Center Al Jefferson. Bench -- Forward Nathan Jawai, Forward Damien Wilkins, Forward Brian Cardinal, Forward Wayne Ellington, Center Ryan Hollins, Guard Sasha Pavlovic, Guard Ramon Sessions.

--G Jonny Flynn's 20 points were a career-high -- OK, it's just six games -- after scoring 18 and 17 in his first two NBA games.

--F Al Jefferson scored in single digits (eight points) Friday for the second time in the first six games.

--F Oleksiy Pecherov scored just two points Friday after Wednesday's 24-point, eight-rebound game against Kevin Garnett and Boston.

--F Damien Wilkins has been reduced to a bit reserve role in the four games since coach Kurt Rambis moved Ryan Gomes from power forward to small forward and took Wilkins out of the starting lineup. He has played fewer than 10 minutes in each of those four games, including less than nine on Friday.

--F Kevin Love will have his fractured left hand X-rayed again on Nov. 20. If it has healed sufficiently, he will be cleared to return to practice. That'd be about two weeks ahead of the six-to-eight week timetable when he broke it in a preseason game at Chicago on Oct. 16.
