Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-11-03

Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-11-03ROTATION: Starters -- Power forward Oleksiy Pecherov, Small forward Ryan Gomes, Center Al Jefferson, Shooting guard Corey Brewer, Point guard Jonny Flynn. Bench -- Guard Ramon Sessions, Forward Ryan Hollins, Guard Damien Wilkins, Forward Brian Cardinal, Guard Wayne Ellington, Forward Nathan Jawai, Guard Sasha Pavlovic.

--G Ramon Sessions for the second straight game got more playing time off the bench than rookie Jonny Flynn did as a starter. Sessions played 26 minutes, Flynn almost 22 as coach Kurt Rambis turned to Sessions to organize and execute his triangle offense.

--F Al Jefferson followed Sunday's breakthrough 21-point, 33-minute game at Phoenix with a 24-point, four-rebound night in 34 minutes Monday. It was his first set of back-to-back regular-season games in his comeback from February knee surgery.

--F Oleksiy Pecherov started his second consecutive game at power forward so Ryan Gomes could move to his more natural small forward position.

--G Corey Brewer had 14 points, six assists and five steals on the same day the team extended his contract for the 2010-11 season.

--F Kevin Love is out for the next 4-to-6 weeks because of a fractured left hand sustained in a preseason game at Chicago and later surgically repaired.
