PLAYER NOTES --F Ryan Gomes' 20 points Sunday gave him his third consecutive 20 or more point game and his fourth in the last six.
--C Jason Collins played 26 minutes, nearly as much as the 30 minutes total he had played in just three previous appearances since Kevin McHale became coach on Dec. 8. McHale used Collins extensively Sunday, including down the fourth-quarter stretch, to counter Lakers center Pau Gasol after Gasol got rookie Kevin Love in early foul trouble.
--F Brian Cardinal's DNP-CD was his first since Dec. 20 against Houston, 29 games ago, after he barely played during the season's first six weeks.
