Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-02-03
ROTATION: Starting lineup -- Power forward Craig Smith, small forward Ryan Gomes, center Al Jefferson, shooting guard Randy Foye, point guard Sebastian Telfair. Bench -- Power forward Kevin Love, shooting guard Mike Miller, power forward Brian Cardinal, small forward Rodney Carney, center Jason Collins, power forward Mark Madsen, shooting guard Rashad McCants.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Al Jefferson's 34-point game was his seventh 30-plus game of the season. His 11 rebounds gave him his 26th double-double and his 22nd with more than 20 points and 10 rebounds.

--F Rodney Carney's five points was his fourth consecutive single-digit scoring game after scoring in double figures in six of his previous eight games.

--G Mike Miller now has scored in single figures in 12 of 15 games since returning from twice spraining his ankle in December. He was 3-for-4 for eight points Sunday.

--C Jason Collins still hasn't played a second since Kevin McHale became coach on Dec. 8.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Kevin Ollie has been cleared to start shooting and is hopeful his fractured elbow will be healthy enough for him to return after the All-Star break.

--F Corey Brewer is out for the season following December surgery to repair a torn knee ligament.
