Minnesota Timberwolves Roster Report 2009-01-31
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Sebastian Telfair, Shooting guard Randy Foye, Small forward Ryan Gomes, Power forward Craig Smith, Center Al Jefferson. Bench -- Guard Mike Miller, Forward Kevin Love, Forward Rodney Carney, Forward Brian Cardinal, Forward Mark Madsen.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Al Jefferson's 34-point game was his sixth 30-point game this season. His 13 rebounds also made it his 25th double-double and his 20th time with 20-plus points and 10-plus rebounds.

--F Kevin Love fouled out for the first time in his young career, with 7:18 still left in the game.

--F Rodney Carney spectacularly missed a breakaway dunk and finished in single digits (1-for-5, five points) for the third consecutive game after he had scored in double-figures in six of the previous eight games.

--F Mark Madsen saw his first game action -- less than three minutes in the third quarter -- since Jan. 7.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Kevin Ollie still can't dribble the ball with his left arm and remains out indefinitely because of a dislocated elbow sustained Jan. 3 at Chicago.

--F Corey Brewer is out for the season following December surgery to repair a torn knee ligament.
