
--A magnetic resonance imaging test on Sebastian Telfair's ankle taken Tuesday was negative, showing it was a only sprain he sustained Friday at Sacramento.
Telfair missed his second consecutive game Tuesday night and likely will be sidelined for at least the rest of the week. Randy Foye has started at point guard for those two games. Wolves coach Randy Wittman only said a "little while" when asked when the point guard might return to play again.
"It just depends on how it reacts," he said.
--Tuesday's loss denied the Wolves their first three-game winning streak of the season.
Three times now they've won consecutive games, but each time they've lost the next time out.
"It's tough," Wolves forward Craig Smith. "We've still got to try and push for it. Hopefully before the season ends, we can get it in."
