--Sebastian Telfair served the final game of his season-opening, three-game NBA suspension Sunday night and will be eligible to play starting Wednesday against San Antonio.
With Telfair out, coach Randy Wittman turned to veteran Kevin Ollie to play 17 minutes in the season opener, 20 in Saturday's game against Dallas and 18 on Sunday. In the first two games, he called upon in some stretches in favor of starting point guard Randy Foye. Asked if he missed Telfair's presence, Wittman said, "A little bit, the change of pace he provides in transition. Kevin does a lot of things he does defensively, pick up 94 feet. I like what Kevin's done there. We miss a little bit the speed of transition that 'Bassy' can provide. He can get good stops and push the ball up the floor."
--The Wolves made their first visit to Oklahoma City to play the Thunder, which moved from Seattle last summer. But it wasn't their first trip to Ford Center.
They played New Orleans there three times when the Hornets were left homeless by Hurricane Katrina.
"We know where the locker rooms are, we've been on the floor," Wittman said. "It's not completely foreign."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "Numbers don't lie." -- Wolves forward Al Jefferson, when asked if the team's 19 offensive rebounds surrendered told the story of Sunday's 88-85 loss at Oklahoma City.
