MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota Timberwolves forward Mike Miller returned to the court after missing four games with an injured right ankle.
Miller started for the Wolves on Friday night against San Antonio. He sprained his ankle at Orlando on Dec. 3. In that time, Minnesota fired Randy Wittman and installed former vice president of basketball operations Kevin McHale as coach.McHale says expected Miller to have a little rust. The sharp-shooter hasn't practiced since the injury. That means he hasn't had a chance to adjust to the changes McHale has instituted since he took over on Monday.
McHale said he wanted Miller to start being more aggressively offensively and looking for his own shot after deferring to teammates for the first 17 games in a Wolves uniform.
